November is here and Black Friday is coming up quickly! Video games are one product that we’ll likely see some deep discounts, as we’ve seen huge Black Friday sales in past years in this category. You can find games, accessories, and consoles at affordable prices if you search online today.
Black Friday will look a little different this year as retailers focus more on online sales to avoid large crowds in-store. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or hoping to check some gifts off your Christmas shopping list, search online to find the best deals being offered in video games this Black Friday.

PlayStation 5
The long-awaited PS5 launches on November 12, 2020, and is currently available for pre-order. The Digital Edition is $399.991, while the PS5 with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive will retail for $499.992. The console price is expected to include one DualSense Wireless controller.

Because it’s a new release, we don’t expect to see a discount on the PS5. Considering the release of a new console, the PS4 may drop as low as $199.99 — like it did last year for Black Friday — in order to clear out stock.
Xbox Series X
Microsoft is promising a November 10, 2020 release date for the Xbox Series X. At full price, it will retail for $499.998 and be available for purchase on Amazon and at Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and GameStop.
Because the Xbox Series X is a new release, we don’t expect any discounts. However, it’s always a good idea to check out retailers closer to Black Friday in case some sales crop up.
Nintendo Switch Deals
The Nintendo Switch has been in high demand and therefore somewhat difficult to find this year. As such, Black Friday deals are likely to revolve around games and accessories (and perhaps bundles), as opposed to the console itself.
Currently, Amazon has some Switch games up to $20 off, as well as deals on Switch accessories from $6.9 Additionally, the Nintendo Switch Lite is available for $199.99 on Amazon.10
A variety of Switch games are already up to $20 off at Best Buy.11 This includes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which is now $49.99 (regularly $59).12 The Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing edition is also available at Best Buy for $299.99.13
For the last two years, Nintendo has released a Black Friday Switch Bundle and this year is no exception. Best Buy has a “Coming Soon” box that includes the “V2” version of the Neon Blue/Neon Red Joy-Con, a download code for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a three-month membership to Nintendo Switch Online for only $299.99.14
