The Best Laptop and Tablet Black Friday Deals

3 minute read

By Editorial Staff

This year, Black Friday falls on 27 November. With more and more people shopping online instead of going to the high street, expect to see some impressive offers from several retailers. If you are thinking of buying a laptop or tablet, Black Friday deals might be the best way to save money. Retailers are likely to post crazy offers to shift their stock for the 24 hours of Black Friday. Also, offers may continue into the next week, when “Cyber Monday” rolls around.

Apple

Apple doesn’t really engage in Black Friday discounts through its own Apple Store. Despite the manufacturer’s reluctance to offer discounts for Black Friday, Apple still has some specials to offer customers. Last year, Apple gave customers a free £160 gift card when buying certain products or free AirPod engravings with the purchase of the earbuds.1

While Apple doesn’t give out discounts, that doesn’t mean other retailers can’t pick up the slack. For instance, Currys PC World has a good number of deals on Apple products. This includes:

While these savings might not seem that significant, it depends on the retailer or even the Apple product. For example, discounts on iPads are very hard to find. You can see this fact in the deals from Very. Currently, Very has the:

Dell

Dell’s own site may be the best option for finding Black Friday deals on its products. Although the very best deals are likely being reserved for the day itself, Dell is currently running an “early access” sale for those wanting to snag deals now. As part of this sale, customers can get 12 or 15 percent off select laptops when using the BLACK12 or BLACK15 promo code, respectively.8

HP

At the moment, HP doesn’t have many Black Friday deals on offer. The couple deals that are available include:

Despite the paltry offerings for HP, other online retailers look to have the best offers on HP products in the run-up to the big day. Currys PC World has the HP 14s-dq1505sa 14-inch Laptop for £599, which is a savings of £100.11 At Laptops Direct, customers can pick up the HP ProBook 430 G7 Laptop for £799.97, which is a discount of £300.12 Last but not least, Very is selling the Omen 15 Gaming Laptop for £1479.99, which is £120 off the original price.13

Lenovo

Lenovo is already in the full swing of Black Friday with its Sneak Peek sale. By using the SNEAKPEAK promo code, customers can get up to 28 percent off select Lenovo products before 5:59 p.m. on 26 November.

As part of this sale, you can pick up the:

Samsung

Samsung is extending its Black Friday sale over a three-week period. However, the manufacturer is holding these sales close to its chest. If you want to get exclusive access to this sale, make sure to register on Samsung’s website.18

Since Samsung isn’t keen on divulging its Black Friday deals, customers should take a look at other retailers for deals. At Very, the 128GB Galaxy Tab S6 Tablet is available for £499, a reduction of £120.19 On the other hand, AO has the 256GB Tab S6 for £569, which is a savings of £120 as well.20

Start Searching for Black Friday Deals Online

2020 promises to be an incredible year for Black Friday deals. Though there are some great deals already available, some retailers will undoubtedly save the biggest promotions for the 27 November.

Even now, the deals listed here are a relatively small fraction of what is available in the lead-up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. As such, be sure to sign up for alerts on each retailers’ website for the most up-to-date deals, and when they will go live. Also, make sure to start searching now because some of these deals will go fast.
