All four models are available in a range of captivating colors. iPhone 15 and 15 Plus feature color-infused back glass, available in black, blue, green, yellow, and pink. While the iPhone Pro and Pro Max are available in black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.1

New Features

The latest iPhone iteration brings a plethora of innovative features. Notably, the switch to USB-C should make charging and uploading more convenient for users. Apple has also made the innovative Dynamic Island feature available across the base model iPhone 15s.

This year marks the release of a feature called reverse charging, which allows you to charge an Apple Watch or AirPods by plugging them into your phone. Apple also rolled out an impressive collection of environmentally friendly initiatives, including an increase in the use of recycled materials in iPhone fabrication and eliminating the use of leather in all iPhone products from here on out.

The Specs

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are powered by the robust A16 Bionic processor that features a 6-core CPU alongside a 5-core GPU. Both of these base models are available with 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB storage options too.

The Pro versions enjoy a notable upgrade in processing power. That’s thanks to Apple’s brand-new A17 Pro processor that features a 6-core CPU and a 6-core GPU. The iPhone 15 Pro is available in four storage sizes, including 128 GB, 256 GB, 415 GB, and 1TB options, while the baseline Pro Max starts at 256 GB and works its way to 1 TB.

The Display

While groundbreaking display changes aren’t on the agenda for 2023, the base model iPhone 15 continues to impress with its 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display, which is upgraded to a 6.7-inch version for the iPhone 15 Plus.

The Pro and Pro Max displays come in at 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch respectively, both featuring ProMotion technology with adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz, haptic touch, a fingerprint-resistant coating and a typical contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1.2

The Price

What’s the investment for the latest iPhone models? The base iPhone 15 starts at $799 for the 128GB version, while the iPhone 15 Plus begins at $899. Prices increase with higher storage options.

The Pro models carry a higher price tag, with the iPhone 15 Pro starting at $999 and the Pro Max at $1,199. The price tag for the top of the line, 1 TB Pro Max tops out at $1,599 once again this year.

Battery Life

New this year is the inclusion of a USB-C port across all iPhone 15 models. The batteries are also made of 100 percent recycled cobalt, furthering Apple’s legacy and commitment to eco-friendly practices.

The base model iPhone 15 boasts an estimated battery life equivalent to up to 20 hours of video playback, while the premium Pro Max model enjoys up to 29 hours of video playback. What’s more, when paired with a 20W adapter, the latest iPhones can achieve a 50% charge in approximately 30 to 35-minutes.

The Cameras

Only the iPhone 15 uses a dual-lens rear camera setup. The rest of the models feature a triple-lens rear camera setup that includes a 48MP main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra wide lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens capable of 3X optical zoom.

The 12 MP front-facing camera of the iPhone 15 has similarly been updated for better low-light photography, including features like autofocus, night mode for selfies, 4K video recording, and more.3
