In the 1995 rom-com Clueless, we see a fashionable Cher use a high-tech computer to help her decide what to wear. It digitizes all her clothes. Plus, there’s even a virtual Cher that pops up, allowing her to see the different options her closet provides. Finally, technology has caught up to this iconic moment from 90s pop culture as you can now download an app that will help you get dressed every day.

There are various apps to choose from with different functions, prices, and features. Whichever one you decide to try, you’ll be able to get ready in a breeze with the touch of a button.

Here are five apps that will help you decide what to wear.

1. Closet+

Price: Free (offers in-app purchases)

The Closet+ app is described as the “swiss army knife of style assistants”, which makes complete sense. It’s a clean and easy-to-use app that will make choosing an outfit your favorite part of the day.

Closet+ shows you when you last wore an outfit or clothing item. You can also plan outfits ahead of time using the app’s calendar function. So, whether you’re planning to pack for a trip or for an upcoming event, you can feel prepared.

Another nifty feature is how you can have multiple closets. This means you can divide your wardrobe by season, occasion, or however else you see fit. Users can also customize Closet+ by favoriting their go-to pieces and changing the app’s theme according to their desired aesthetic.

You can download Closet+ on iOS devices.1

2. Stylicious

Price: Free

Shop from your own closet using the Stylicious app.  Stylicious allows you to make looks simply by snapping images of your wardrobe. Mix and match your clothes, accessories, and shoes easily to save looks for future reference.

If you’re looking to add a new piece into your closet, Stylicious also has a shopping function. You can easily shop from your favorite brands straight from the app. You will be able to quickly find out whether you already own a similar item by swiping through your closet.

Stylicious is available to download on Google Play.2

3. Dressed

Price: $1.99

The Dressed app uses graphics and animations to help you with your closet woes. It allows you to flip through your clothes, shoes, and accessories to design the perfect outfit. Rediscover old favorites by swiping pieces onto your mannequin model. Save your energy and have the virtual model change in and out of your clothes instead.

You can download Dressed on iOS devices. Plus, it’s also compatible with the Apple Watch.3

4. Pureple Outfit Planner

Price: Free

Pureple takes the work out of closet organization by doing the work for you. The app automatically categorizes your items. You could also organize items yourself based on color, occasion, brand and whatever is relevant to your closet needs. Pureple will suggest outfits based on your pieces, which you can swipe left or right on, depending on whether you like an outfit or not. The app will get to know your style along the way.

There’s a premium version of the app for users to access their closets from multiple devices. Your wardrobe will also be backed up in cloud storage, so you don’t have to worry about having to retake photos in case they are lost.

Pureple Outfit Planner is available to download on the App Store and Google Play.4

5. Stylebook

Price: $5.49

Stylebook is one of the top-rated virtual closets available with over 90 features to customize your experience. When you download the app, users can do a variety of functions. This app has an aesthetically pleasing layout that’s clean and simple to use. Users can add their wardrobe to the app either by taking pictures or pulling items directly from the shopping tab.
