The discounts from AT&T are stackable, meaning that if you transfer in a new line from a competitor and trade in a qualifying phone, you can get a total discount of up to $500 when you purchase a new S9 from AT&T.
Walmart currently has the best offer for a new S9: straight up money off the retail price of the phone. This retailer will give you a discount of $150 off of a new S9 that you purchase in store. In order to get the discount, you must sign up for an installment plan with Verizon or AT&T. You are also able to combine the discount from Walmart with the promos that are offered by either AT&T or Verizon.
Best Buy is offering several different discounts when you purchase your S9 there. You can receive $100 off if you sign up for a contract with Sprint for 24 months. You can also receive a discount of up to $350 when you trade in a qualifying phone, which includes the Galaxy S8, S8+ and S8 Active phones and the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X models.
